#asktheexperts My newborn baby boy is 10 days old. sometimes tears falling down from right eye.. what to do now..

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. this occurs due to nasolacrimal duct obstruction which is very common in children at this age
it occurs due to obstruction of pathway (nasolacrimal duct) from eyes to the nose for which eyes massage is needed regularly and this problem goes away with increasing age of the childd
meet your doctor for more information and also go through various videos which will also tedlls you how to massage the eyes to decrease the obstruction.
if the obstruction is not taken care of the proper massage it can lead to infection in the eyes( yellow secretion) and mdore watery eyes as well as red eyes and secretions from the eyes

Kids do not have tears are they said that means that will tear duct is blocked which is why this problem is happening I would advise you to go ahead by doing a basic massage on to the nose of your child in between the area of eyes this is going to help in opening of the blockage over the period
