#asktheexperts My newborn 1 month old latches for only 5 min and then he gets into deep sleep, doesn’t wake up. When I put him on bed for sleep, he doesnt sleep properly and wakes up within 15 minutes and again cries for feed. How to change this pattern, basically when he would be able to latch 15-20 minutes and asks for next feed in 2-3 hrs or atleast an hour later.

A. Hey!! as you continue to breastfeed your baby, try gently massaging your babies legs slowly. This action should keep your baby awake for longer time to breastfeed further. Be patient in persistent in your effort. Use Babyhug tummy roll on for your baby
