#asktheexperts my is 20 months old. He was 2.78 kgs at birth. How much weight he should gain now?

A. Namaste Mom, Approximately in the range of 12 to 14 kgs as such , though a little difference is acceptable as long as they are active for their age and eating healthy.

A. 10 to 14 kg is normal as per WHO

A. Mam your child should be at least 12 kg by the age of two because with a birth weight if you value the normally consider it up till the age of one year only and after that it is expected that the child should gain 2 kg every year so on rough estimate it should be 12 by the age of two
