Q.

#asktheexperts my is 11 months old nd her weight is 8.22 kg.. what should i do for gaining her ?? Is there tonic or else can help ?? What kind of foods i can gv her for weight gaining??

A. 8.2 kg Weight os good. You can give Daal Khichdi, veggies like Spinach, potatoes, beans, carrot, pumpkin. Give Ragi , makkhana, rice, suji porridge, suji kheer, oats. Give fruits like peach, pear, apple, avcado, banana in pureed form or mashed form. Give wheat Dalia adding veggies. curd rice, curd roti (soaked), Daal roti (mashed and soaked) is one of the best meal for babies..

A. hiii .. u have to give food to ur baby at regular interval (every 2 hourly or 3 hourly ) . Add potato and tomato puries and pourage in diet .

A. Hi Dr Disha, You have mentioned OATS in food but recently i consulted with Pediatrician and he suggested that oats might reduce the weight so dont give it. Could you please explain how Oats could help in weight gain?

A. good evening for gaining weight I would recommend that you should try to give your child healthy carbohydrate including paneer and potato preparations you should try to give your child curd prepared from full fat milk
