#asktheexperts My infant has a difficulty sleeping at night after we stop breastfeeding him. He will go on wailing for almost 3-4 hours at a stretch. what may be the problem?

A. the reason behind this is he's associating sleep with feed. In order to break this cycle it is advisable to either ask someone else to put him to sleep after u feed him or else u tap him to sleep after breastfeeding him

A. How to Break the Feed-to-Sleep Habit Feed your baby at the beginning of the bedtime routine.Put your baby to bed drowsy but not asleep.Don't go cold-turkey if your baby currently wakes between four to six times a night.Don't panic if your baby falls asleep during a night feed.
