Q.

#asktheexperts my daughters skin seems to be dry skin and her thighs are getting darker in color compared to other parts of the body. What should I do to get the same color on thighs as other parts? I am using diaper only in night and changes it in 4hrs interval. Can I use olive oil for dry skin on face and body. Plz suggest a remedy to get rid of this dark color on her thighs.

A. the darkening of the skin could be because of the hormonal changes and yes you can apply olive oil but make sure that you always do a patch test before you apply throughout the body

A. Hello dear parent! Maintain a good personal hygiene for your baby. Try applying pure coconut oil on the affected area. Use the diapers only when absolutely necessary. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug daily massage oil for muscle flexibility and skin care. Good luck and take care.
