#asktheexperts My daughter who is 8 months old had a pinch of blood while passing out stool. Is it a matter of concern?

A. Mostly blood in stool is present when baby is having constipation and passing regularly hard stools so you should increase more of liquid diet to the baby And include more of green leafy vegetables and fruits, which has fibers give more of liquids

A. Hello dear parent, we'll when babies are constipated they usually get blood from the stool. So there is nothing to be worried about. But if baby is not constipated then you should consult with your paediatric once. Hope you understand. Good luck and take care
