#asktheexperts my daughter started speaking late at around 3 years, and speech is still not clear , how can I improve her speech, I had taken folic acid twice a day unknowingly where Dr advised me 1 per day during pregnancy, is this the reason for speech delay in my daughter, she is 5.3yr now

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. Hello dear Folic acid might not be the cause for this. And if speech is the only problem then don’t worry a lot about it. A few kids take longer to learn

Hello ma’am When a kid starts to speak let they take some time to clear the speech and all my star daughter started at 3 1/2 years and now by the age of six years has speech is completely clear still I would say 10% is lacking but that also will become fine with time so don’t worry about it that this just because the child has started to speak let
