Q.

#asktheexperts My daughter is one month old, I breast feed her. She feeds for 5-6 minutes only. Many a times my breasts start leaking, but when I hand express milk through breasts, it comes out only 30-40 ml from both breasts. Does it mean I'm not producing enough milk?? Is there difference when baby latch milk from breast and when we hand express milk??

A. Add this year. The basic requirement is about a minimum of 30 ML. Only. So is that a child is the taking enough from you and green properly then nothing to be worried about yet. If you feel the feeding it not sufficient, then you can can consult a lactation specialist and then you can go ahead with giving formula feeding as well to the child.
