A. take follow up re evaluation is needed fever for more than 3 days is not a simple fever and examination re-evaluation is required for the same and you can continue to give the fever medicine like paracetamol and if needed higher medicine like ibugesic under medical guidance. laboratory investigation (blood / radiology) will be decided by the doctor on follow up. when the doctor has started medicines wait for completion of 3 days then take a follow up if the child is not improving. kindly do body sponge for fever and give fluids /diet /medicine at regular interval and remain in contact with the doctor.
