#asktheexperts my child is now suffering from enlarged adenoids. age 5yrs. I am already concerned with dr Vijay shekhran, sr pulmonologist, appollo children Hospital chennai.can you suggest the actual age of operating the adenoids gland ?

But actually five years honestly is the right age and in fact all I will tell you go for it when you are personally ready to get the surgery done because it requires a lot of care but I can assure you to an extent that the growth of the child is going to be very good as it is meant to be after the surgery because it actually hampers the total physical growth of the child
