Q.

#asktheexperts My child is having constipation problem. I have to use suppository. Giving her syrups as advised by the doctor but the syrup is not working. Came to know of figs syrup. Can I give it to my child? And What is the correct dosage?

A. you can soak a few dry grapes in the night and make your baby consume it in the morning to help in easy bowel movements. You can give Isabgol with warm water daily once.

A. yes can be used for. Baby may not motion on daily basis. It may be in some days or may be up to 7 days . Glycerine suppository may be used for the lubrication if baby not passing motion and no any other medicine are recommended .
