Q.

My 4+ month old son has been struggling with a constipation issue. I always need to use the dulcoflux child suppository . As per advised by the doctor ,his problem would be resolved after using every day for 5 -6 times. However, it never cured. I always have to use it, and now it seems that he can't do potty without dulcoflux use. Please advise to cure it permanently.

A. normally hardness of the stool is not seen when you are giving only breastfeeding to the child. it is advisable to continue only breastfeeding and nothing else till completion of 6 months of age. if still the hard stool continues you have to visit the doctor to find the cause. but if you are giving formula milk then there is a possibility that the milk is not properly digested by the child and you will have to change the brand of formula milk.x also do not give any food to the child except milk at this age.f

A. Your child is only four months old why are you giving laxative to the child as constipation is normal in this age kids can go without pooping for 7 to 10 days at a stretch this is too much of struggle you can just insert Enima into the anus of your child don’t get your child’s body used to any kind of laxative in this small age
