A. The child should be given 5 ml of either syrup Colicaid or syrup Cyclopam if experiencing abdominal pain. It is important to consult a doctor to determine the underlying cause of the pain, as it could be attributed to gas, worms, abdominal pathology, gastroenteritis, constipation, or digestive issues. In the meantime, it is recommended to provide the child with easily digestible foods such as water, buttermilk, curd rice, dal, poha, upma, daliya, and fruits, while avoiding milk products, packaged foods, fried items, and heavy meals. Continuing witfh anti-colic medications is advised, and the doctor may also prescribe antacids to alleviate gas and bloating for a few days.y
