#asktheexperts My child have red patches appearing on her tongue. The patch appears as spot at first and then spread on the tongue and then disappear. When the spot spread over the tongue, she refuses to eat salty food.

Author of questionGuardian of a 5 yr 2 m old girl3 years agoA. It appears, spread and disappear many times. It's not due to heat. It is appearing from last many months. Paediatrician said it can be allergy. They are also not sure.

Chitradevi PMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Hi Mom, It may caused due to heat. I would suggest you to consult with your child doctor regarding the same for proper evaluation and advise. Make your child to drink plenty of water. Keep the baby well hydrated always. Thank you and have a nice day.
