#asktheexperts My child got chickenpox, is it very common at this age ? and can this be avoided if we get the varicella vaccine ?

A. A child can have chickenpox after right after the time of birth also I have seen kids who are 3 to 5 days of age and also can get chickenpox it’s normal than the vaccination is given one time to avoid chickenpox now it is of no use because chickenpox has to happen one time in the lifestyle vaccination is just going to prolong it can happen at the age of 50 also two people so right now there is no point giving the vaccination
