#asktheexperts My breast milk is low and my baby is having formula feed since birth. Will my baby grow up with a lack of immunity. Now she is 3 months old

A. It won't effect the immunity or growth of the baby. However breast milk is always best. Try to increase the supply. Have lots of liquids. Include masoor dal, jeera, shaunf, ajwain, oats, daliya etc in diet. Talk to the gynecologist about supplements. Make sure you give lots of skin to skin touch. Latch the baby often. The more the demand the more is the supply. That's how our body works based on the signals. You can also invest in a good breast pump and pump frequently. Electric pumps would be great. Who says that if the child is fed on formula milk it is going to be a hurdle in the immunity or anything of the sort these people have no sense of understanding the importance of or how good it is for the health they unnecessarily spread these humour so don’t fall for this thing it’s as good as breastfeeding but of course we suggest you breastfeeding any day over for me but when you don’t have an option formula is hundred percent safe to be given
