Q.

#asktheexperts my boy is 11 months old. he has only 3 teeth. fourth teeth on the top is half out. not completely out. no other teeth are showing signs of coming out. should I check a pediatric dentist regarding this.

A. for tooth development and eruption the first important thing is that the child should not have deficiency of calcium and vitamin d. first tooth eruption can occur anytime between 6 months to 18 months of age. deficiency is there or not will be told by the doctor. there is no need to worry because many times the first tooth eruption may occur as late as 16 to 18 months of age also. so if your personal doctor is not worried then no need to worry from your sidde

A. hello it is normal and nothing to worry and the child will be able to get other teeth shortly and nothing to worry and she will get the most of them by the age 2 years to 3 years which is not a problem and make sure to meet in a proper hygiene and use a fluoride free toothpaste like babyhug
