Q.

#asktheexperts my baby was having diarrhea. its 5th day i have given syrups prescribed by dr. zerolac ,zinc, antiboitic, ors & probitic. he still does potty around 4 to 5 times a day acc to whatever he eats. potty is not totally loose its bit semi not that much.. before he used to do thick constipated potty max 2 to 3 times a day. is he still having diarrhea? how much time will it take to be normal? baby is 8 months old

A. continue with medication as advice, One thing you can though to help bulken up the stools is by giving a brat diet - banana, rice, apple, sago kheer.give plenty of it's water.

A. dr told to give syrups upto 3 or 5 days untill his potty is ok. number of times he used to go was 14 to 15 times on 1st day....then by 3rd day it reduced to 4. i dont want to give him unwanted dawai. he is just 8 months. whatever i try he gets something or the other every month. i am worried.
