#asktheexperts my baby was born on 5th sep with weight 2.6kg. can you please tell how much weight he should have put on completion of 45 days or how can I check if he is gaining appropriate weight

Author of questionMom of 2 children3 years agoA. by end of one month(by oct 5) he gained 300gms.is there any particular number he should have gained by end of one month ?

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy3 years agoA. From birth to age 6 months, a baby might grow 1/2 to 1 inch (about 1.5 to 2.5 centimeters) a month and gain 5 to 7 ounces (about 140 to 200 grams) a week. Expect your baby to double his or her birth weight by about age 5 months.
