#asktheexperts My baby was born in 35 weeks 3 days, his birth weight was 3.03 kg. He was on antibiotics in NICU for 5 days his on discharge weight was 2.9 kg. Now he is 1 month 27days. What should be his ideal weight? He frequently faces constipation and keeps crying what can be done? What should i do to gain his weight? He is on breastfeed.

NikithaMom of a 11 yr 1 m old boy4 months agoA. hello normal no worriee. babies birth weight reduces after birth n slowly will start gaining n baby gaining a min if 150 g to 200 g per week means baby is getting enough milk n is a good weight
