Q.

#asktheexperts my baby was a preemie born at 7 months with low weight. now his corrected age is 1 year 2 months.but still I cannot see the teeth emerging yet. although for the last 4 to 5 months he has all signs of teething. everyone says a preemie baby takes longer to get teeth. should I be worried and consult with a neonatal dentist

A. See in general course of time for any child it is three months to 17 months of age if it does not happen by that time then you can consult a dentist for a premature childhood could probably be a month extra maybe 18 months otherwise after that you should definitely consult a dentist but currently this is totally totally normal
