It is imperative to prioritize safety when it comes to the sleep position of infants. The American Academy of Pediatrics strongly advises against placing infants on their stomachs to sleep due to the increased risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Studies have shown that placing infants on their backs to sleep significantly reduces the likelihood of SIDS. This is because the back sleep position allows for better airflow and reduces the chances of the infant rebreathing their own exhaled carbon dioxide. It is also crucial to ensure that the infant's sleep environment is free of loose bedding, toys, or any other items that could pose a suffocation hazard. By following these guidelines, caregivers can help create a safe sleep environment for infants that promotes healthy development and reduces the risk of SIDS.

RashmiMom of a 10 yr 11 m old girl1 Year agoA. Normally kids were in this age of 2.5 months they usually sleep on their side not onto their tummy so as of now I would suggest you not to make your child sleep on tummy and you should make your child sleep sideways or back because that is more comfortable positive if your child is sleeping like this comfortably then make sure the head is tilted sometimes towards the left side towards the right side otherwise head from a particular side will become Flat whatever is going to be on the ground otherwise it is fine if the child is comfortably sleeping like this
