#asktheexperts my baby's weight is not increasing. He is 3.5 months old and his weight is constant at 4.8 kg.

A. Hi mommy, if your child is not gaining weight you have to increase the frequency of feeds, also since she is only 3.5 months old, and you cant feed her any solids you will have to work on your own diet, ensure taking a high protein diet so that the quality and nutritional content of breastmilk is enhanced

A. If the weight it has been constant that means the feeling that you are giving is not working out enough for your child I would recommend you to start giving powder milk to the child that is definitely going to be beneficial in increasing the weight of the child and still if you do not see any progress and it’s important to have an assessment with your doctor
