Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy3 years agoA. gastrocolic reflex is very normal in children. in this phenomena the child is having semi solid to solid stool after every episode of of food / milk intaker. if the growth / weight gain of the child is proper there is no need to worry about this phenomena. r usually this phenomena decreases with increasing age of the child

This is the basic issue of indication that the child has a disease when you start with semisolid food sometime this things can happen so give it sometime about a week more still if you see that the situation is same then in that case you can ask your doctor to help you with some medicine
