#asktheexperts my baby is preterm 35wks.. he had jaundice pn day 7 .. bilrubin 21.. treated wit phototherapy.. is there any chance of jaundice again

A. hi your baby is born prematurely.jaundice is a problem of newborn baby especially those born prematurely as their liver doesn't function well.dont worry as age grows the jaundice shall decrease and even if seen shall not be that significant

A. Hi mom It’s all normal and common in small baby No need to worry Maintain hygiene Maintain hydration Take a good care of your baby Apply coconut oil or olive oil Massage regularly with coconut oil Give early morning exposure to sun light Give ultra D3 drops and calcium supplements
