#asktheexperts My baby is off breast feed and on formula milk at 2 months old. How much weight gain should I expect every month on an average?

A. Ideally, infants should gain 140-200 gms weight per week and by 5th month, it should double the birth weight. Whether you are feeding formula or breastmilk, make sure in 2 months, you feed in every 3-4 hours which should include atleast 2 times night feed too. Use good quality feeding bottles from brands like Babyhug or Philips Avent and sterilize after every feed.
