#asktheexperts my baby is having cough and cold last 5 days. I am clearing mucus every time with drops. Kindly suggest she is having cough

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. it appears to be allergic cough/cold. they can be associated with temperature variations around the body (hot to cold or cold to hot environmental changes) which the body cannot sustain leading to cough usually at evening /night and morning. requires examination and start anti allergic medicines. meet dr and prevent suchx temperature variations. there is a possibility of starting anti allergic medicines for at least one month and the doctor will decide if the child xneeds inhaler therapy or nebulization. when allergies are not controlled they can lead to intermittent respiratory infections which needs other medicine

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr 3 m old girl2 years agoA. Hi dont worry. You may warm some coocnut oil add some tulsi leaves and apply to baby's chest and sole for relief. You may alos apply warm mustard oil infused with sole garlic pods. Give medicines too if needed. Keep bbay hydrated
