Q.

#asktheexperts my baby is hardly sleeping from 2 days . She is 44 days old . She hardly slept for 3 hours in the day and at night for every half an hour she wakes up . Earlier she used to sleep a lot from past week it got changed . And also from This week she is crying excess while passing urine/stool . Is this crying and sleepless behaviour normal

A. Sleep Cycle in smaller babies is very different and they have a certain pattern initially which becomes regularize at around 6 to 8 mouinths of age and if the baby is comfortable with no irritability because of infantile colic nasal blockage any regurgitation getc you should not worry just give a comfortable position to the baby and no medicine is required.

A. Hello dear parent! Check if your baby is having any tummy issues like colic pain. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition and hydration. Burp the baby after every feed. Keep Babyhug tummy roll on handy. Consult your child’s doctor for advice.
