#asktheexperts My baby is girl and birth weight is 3.5 kg now she is 2 and half month and in June 2nd she will complete her 3 months and now her weight is 4.8 kg May I know is normal weight ?

Completing the age of three or child should be 5 kg because it is expected that the child should gain at least 500 g in a month so if you look at that your child is about 200 kg behind that so you can check with the doctor if the weight doesn’t increase as expected then you can start giving formula along with breastfeeding
