Q.

#asktheexperts My baby is getting too much reflux. Because of that her lungs are filled. What can we do?

A. gastroesophageal reflux disease also known as g e r d is very common problem in small children less than 6 months of age and it does not have any permanent treatment and the problem decreases with increasing age of the child and the importantz thing is that you have to keep the child in upright position for more duration for which gerd chairs are available and at the same time you have to continue and tested medicines given by the doctorz. reflux is very common cause of recurrent cough cold as well as not gaining weight in infants.

A. Normally that does not happen because of stomach reflux but if you are facing such a major problem that your child is going through please have a proper check up with your paediatrician also child is too small you shouldn’t be waiting before consulting a doctor
