#asktheexperts my baby is 8 months old ...now...from today onwards,his weight is 7kg ...and his birth weight is 2.2kg .. so I want to know that is he growing well or not?

A. Hello! Ideally, babies tend to double birth weight by six months and triple by one year completion. If the baby is meeting up all the developmental milestones and is active or alert, it is a positive sign. At eight months, the primary nutrition should be age appropriate solid foods and breast milk.
