#asktheexperts My baby is 8 months old by 1st july, Can I start giving egg to her

A. Hello good morning !! No. Egg ,cow milk,buffalo milk and other meat ,chicken ,fish are suggested after one year as below one year age babies cannot digest egg ,meat,animal's milk. Now as the baby is 8 months old ,give semi solid foods - Cerelac with ghee,banana ,papaya, orange ,steamed and mashed carrots,apples, potatoes,dal kichdi/dal rice ,curd rice,roti pieces with curd,dal,porridges after checking the suitability of every new food item.
