usually it is normal.
in breastfed babies,it is caused by imbalance between foremilk and hindmilk.
so please feed your child on each breast at least 20 minutes so he or she can get full fat hindmilk well.
make changes in diet also as it might be reaction to the food.
and if child is formulafed baby then it is caused by iron supplements of formula.
so don't worry.
but if your child passes green stool with mucus and foul smell then you should consult your pediatrician.
