Q.
#asktheexperts my baby is 8 month and 23 days old she can sit on her own but still she don't get into sitting position from lying down, is it ok?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support.
After 12 to 15 months baby will start Walking independently and sometimes it may v take even longer but in no case any Walker should be avoided as it can cause recurrent fall injury and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 1 m old girl3 years agoA. By This age kids normally learn to sit independently and they get up from the lying down position also on their own only you wait for some more time still if you feel your child is unable to do it then you take an advice from your doctor
