#asktheexperts my baby is 8.5 months old.. i had a c section delivery.. the baby breastfeeds along with having solids.. i havent got my period yet.. is it due to breastfeeding or it could be something else

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. see you brtter do UPT. if t it comes negative then breastfeeding is the cause. you must try to eat healthy, lots of fruit and stay hydrated. take enough sleep and no stress

It’s Actually due to hormonal change in the body when you are exclusively breastfeeding the child the things are very common you can miss your periods for about 11 to 15 months also but that’s also perfectly normal so if you haven’t got your period as of now you do not need to worry about it
