#asktheexperts my baby is 7month and a half she still haven't sit independently yet she sits with support for a while. . pls help how to improve her sitting and also she's been trying to crawl from 6 month but she haven't yet pls help

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. sitting without support and crawling in children may sometimes come after one year of age also.
if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry. just take care of regular diet and baby mzassage which will help in strengthening the muscles needed for sitting and crawling.
in some cases crawling may be absent in children and directly the child will begin to stand with support and later walk with support and then without support.
take a mezdical check up done to confirm if there is need of any intervention.

A child would learn learn to sit from the age of six months and final sitting and happened by the time of eight months so don’t worry about it it is only for the child secondly crawling happens by the time of 9 to 10 month so currently there is no delay with your child
