Q.

#asktheexperts My baby is 7 month old. His weight is 6.1 kg. Is this normal? Should I need to concern? I am breastfeeding him. Also, started solids. How can I improve his weight?

A. hello mom....as per the birth weight baby should be around 7kgs by now so kindly concentrate on healthy diet ....give protein rich foods like dal,ragi malt,sooji kheer,fruits,veggies purees....if any concern kindly consult the paediatrician take care....

A. Hello my dear parent! It all depends on your baby’s birth. Baby should be doubling birth weight by six months and triple by one year completion. Gradually introduce all groups in your child’s daily diet that is healthy and common in your family. Continue with breastfeeding.
