#asktheexperts my baby is 6month old she is not taking any food and milk properly and she has continues cold for past 8days

Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed. if any gufever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and tihe dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

This is judo irritation of cold only that your child is not accepting anything that you are giving but you can ask your doctor if you can go ahead with nebulising Dohchay and giving indirect steam to the child twice a day as that is also going to be very fruitful right now
