#asktheexperts My baby is 5months 27days old,he is passing stool immediately after the feed,now can I start him the the food like rice water,d water,but since he is passing stool in green ,mustard yellow colour my little wooried to introduce new food.pls guide

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. no need to worry about it, avoid over feeding, As long as your baby's poos are soft and easy to pass, there's no cause for concern about it.

it is normal.
nothing to worry.
just offer breasfeeding as and when it is required.
but as green stool is caused by imbalance between foremilk and hindmilk, please feed your child on each breast at least 20 minutes so he or she can get full fat hindmilk well
