#asktheexperts My baby is 5 months old and her birth weight was 2.4 kg and now it is Only 5.8kg ,Kindly kindly to improve her weight

A. in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also. the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking feeding. meet the doctor for weight assessment. if the above criteria is achieved then the child is hsaving adequate milk intake. if the growth of thes child is proper there is no need to worry about the sleeping pattern/ feeding as well as the stool frequency of the child

A. See it’s already double the birth weight so I would not say the weight of the childless yet if you want to know more about it you can consult a lactation doctor and you can start giving powder milk to the child if it is neededWrite Your Answer Here
