Q.

#asktheexperts My baby is 4months old and from day one she has never unlatched. She nurses for every 1.5-2hours. And feeds for more than 40 minutes and then I unlatch her. Her birth weight was 3kg and now she is 5.3kg Is it normal for a baby to never unlatch.

A. hello there ma'am please do not worry about it too much and please message your breasts before breastfeeding and also press your nipple area with your fingers at the time of breastfeeding. and also if baby is doing minimum six to eight time pee that means baby is having breastfeeding properly. and also baby weight should be doubled the birth weight in first six months. take care
