#asktheexperts my baby is 4 months old ..she had blocked eye ducts when she was born … there used to be watery discharge from her eyes but now there is nothing like this but still she keeps scratching her eyes.. suggested what to do?

A. hi yes mam ,it is normal to have blocked tear ducts at this stage of age too. so , please give gentle massage from inner sides of eyes to tip of nose which will help to open blocked tear ducts. clean your child eyes with fresh tap water. if a child is feeling severe itching , redness , yellow or green discharge etc then please visit your pediatrician.
