Q.

#asktheexperts my baby is 3onths old and weighs 4.5 kg only. his birth weight was 2.8 kg and at 12 wks he was only 3 kg. I was having very low breast milk at that time. for last 1 month my breast milk incresed, we also supplemented abou 240 ml formula milk per day. currently he is taking about 120 ml formula and is on breast milk. has gained 1.3 kg in a month. I'm still worried if I has to increase on formula. he is having nipple confusion at times. will increasing formula drastically decrese my breast milk. what will be the ideal feed for my baby

A. baby is no 3 months old you should not give formula milk now you can take supplements for boosting your breast milk supply formula milk if you give by bottle feed then it will create nipple confusion and baby will eventually stop breast milk

A. hello there ma'am please do not worry about it too much and your baby weight is perfectly fine and try to give your baby breast mulkmost of the time as it is total food for your baby. also have shatavari powder with cow milk twice a day to produce more breast milk. take care
