Q.

#asktheexperts my baby is 26 months old and is speaking only 4 to 5 words. how do I increase my baby's speech.. I have tried spending time with her and making her spend time with kids.. but nothing is working out for me.. she is able to understand what we speak and making action instead of speech

A. to improve speech -read different books to the child -talk to the child daily routine like the child understands you with regular eye contact -singing songs and rhymes -while talking repeat what your child says with right pronunciation and do not criticize the child -avoid screen time(tv mobile laptop). leave permit the child to watch the activities that allow to improve his language -take your child outside (open environment) and have a talk with the child regarding the things around the child -introduce new words gradually for proper understanding -speak about things child is interested in. it takes time keep patience
