Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. straining while passing urine and stool is very normal before completion of 6 months of age. sometimes this can continue for one year of age also. it usually occurs due tof the distentiond of the urinary bladder and rectum of the child. the sensation is new for the child that's why the child is crying if you feel thatd the crying is more than normal you should visit a pediatrician for examination.
