Q.

#asktheexperts My baby is 24 month old . He was born premature i.e 8 months old .And weigh only 1.6 K.g . He now weighs almost 9 kg . Yet he has not started walking . He crawls very well and walks holding things on bed and walls etc. When he will start walking ? Is there anything to worry about ?

A. hi i am anuradha, my son anurag was also born a preemy and he is still lagged behind in growth chart however he also started to walk late than normal babies of his age, he's also a late talker but now slowly he's grasping things, from a preemy mother to another hold your patience and to satisfy your inner mother instinct a doctor is always there at hand 🙂

A. Hello dear parent! Few babies have delay in their milestones and it is normal. Regularly massage your baby’s legs in downward milking direction for better muscle flexibility and balance. Give a well balanced healthy diet and keep hydrated all through the day. Speak to your doctor for further advice.
