#asktheexperts My baby is 21months old now.. basically have heard 3-4words from her post 1year of her.. but that too once in a blue moon kind. and from last month she just say or address anyone at home as 'Aa' . by what late age baby can speak or talk words continuously

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .
just mafhgke the child comgfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly.
if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .
