Q.

#asktheexperts my baby is 2 years old , understands instructions, listen to me carefully , performs actions on rhymes, he is active baby but doesn’t speak . Only papa , his name Cheeku . Even if I say new words 10 times he will listen but Wil not speak . As if he dsnt want to talk . What can I do so he can learn to talk !

A. speech comes by 3 years of age with proper 3 word sentence, if not so you must consult with ENT specialist for hearing assessment, BERA test. as early as we identify hearing deficiency wil normalize development as compared to normal babies. some time delayed speech may be part of autism spectrum disorder. or may be in kids living in nuclear families. baby may start speak after admission in play school.
