#Asktheexperts my baby is 2 month old. she has temperature and body achae.crying also. what should I do

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Fever is commonly seen in babies and mostly it's viral infection which is very common in children. But if fever is high grade and persisting or assosiated with specific symptoms than other causes should also be ruled out . Antipyretic like paracetamol or ibuprofen or mefenamic acid are usually given to reduce fever . Cold sponging with lukewarm water is also helpful . Doctor vconsultation should be done if symptoms like excessive irritability dullness loss of appebgtite less urine output is there .

U Can give Calpol or paracetamol to the child as of now that’s going to help in reducing down the temperature at that will help your child sleep also so you can give it as of now you can repeat the dosage after six hours of the temperature rises again
